RF skin tightening is a method of heating the deep layers of the dermis (skin), which causes the stimulation of collagen to help reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

RF skin tightening works by delivering gentle heat below the surface of the skin. This heat causes the stimulation and rejuvenation of collagen which improves fine lines, wrinkles and sagging skin.

Specific laser wavelengths target various portions of the skin that need repair. We start at the most superficial portion of the skin and work deeper in order to help build collagen without damaging the surrounding skin. Few sessions are required and will provide clearer, tighter looking skin. Your provider will discuss individualized plans, outcomes, and treatment results. Not at all. This treatment gently heats the skin while simultaneously monitoring the temperature of the surface of the skin. That allows us to achieve a temperature that will stimulate collagen but also allows us to avoid the risk of burns.

You can expect to see tighter skin, less wrinkles and an overall lifted appearance of the treatment area. If the under-eye area is treated, you can expect a reduction in under-eye bags and dark circles.

There is no downtime with this procedure. We do suggest you avoid direct sun exposure (including tanning beds) for 24-72 hours after treatment and if you do have to be in the sun to apply sunscreen with SPF 50 or higher.

We recommend 3-4 treatments for best results. Results typically last 6 months, this can be extended by coming in for maintenance sessions.

RF Microneedling is two treatments in one. We use a specially designed, sterile, handpiece to penetrate the top layers of the skin into the dermis and then deliver RF energy to a specifically targeted location/tissue. This encourages collagen growth and tissue tightening at that tissue level

Before this treatment you will be given topical anesthetic to apply to the treatment area 30-45 minutes before your treatment. During the treatment you may feel some pressure and heat. Once complete, Aquaphor will be applied to the skin to help protect the open microneedling tracts.

You will have some redness and some tiny scabbing after the treatment. The area should be kept clean until the small scabs fall off (24-72hr). You may apply moisturizer 24 hours after treatment and makeup once scabs fall off. You should avoid direct sun exposure, without sunscreen, for 4 weeks after the procedure.

You can expect reduction of fine lines and wrinkles and overall skin tightening in the treatment area. It may take upto 4-6 weeks to see the full benefits of this treatment.
